Why Yoga Nidra?
I've practiced yoga for 30+ years, and I can honestly say - Yoga Nidra has had the biggest impact on my life. And the same for my clients too.
Even though it's one of the most powerful practices yoga has to offer, it's often the most undervalued - due to its simplicity, and our Western bias towards achieving, optimising, and doing more.
But with stress, anxiety, and stress-related illness at all-time highs, we need to start flipping the switch on that.

Sleep is no longer enough to heal...
Here's something most people don't realise about stress.
Our body is only designed to handle danger for a few minutes at a time. That's it. Then it's meant to reset. Adrenaline and cortisol dissolves, and muscles can relax.
But modern stress isn't like before. There's no tiger to fight or run from. We have 24 hr news cycles, looming deadlines. Financial and relationship worries. Social media algoythms. The constant "what if."
There's no time for a stressor to be processed and released, before the next one.
Day by day, week by week our body is absorbing more and more stress, creating a backlog of tension, unprocessed emotions and unresolved trauma.
This continues to build until one day we might think:
